Our Specialties
Neurologically Focused Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care is rooted in neurology. By removing interference between the brain and the body with a specific thrust applied to a specific joint, we can improve the connection between the brain and the rest of the body.
Healing was designed to happen from the inside out, not the outside in. Through chiropractic care and the removal of that disruption, we can promote self-healing and overall wellness.
Webster Technique
The Webster Technique is a gentle, low-force, specific technique designed to encourage proper sacral and pelvic movement, ease round ligament pain and tension, promote nervous system regulation, and encourage your baby to be in an optimal position for birth—although we don't “turn your baby.”
We also use specially designed pregnancy pillows as the belly grows to keep Mom comfortable during appointments.
Pediatric Care
Chiropractic care for our little ones is just as important as it is for adults. A child's nervous system is learning, adapting, regulating, and processing information at the fastest rate it ever will in their life.
With consistent chiropractic care, we can build resilience in the nervous system to regulate new emotions better, process new information faster, and better handle new and evolving surroundings.
Family Wellness
Whole-family wellness revolves around regulation, beginning with the parents and trickling down through the family.
Work, interrupted sleep, exercise, injuries, travel, and running kids from practices to events are all stressors that can compound within the body. Family wellness can start with being proactive in your care and coming in before pain shows up or a problem arises.
Let us show you what better function and wellness can look like.
Sacral Occipital Technique
SOT is a low-force chiropractic technique. The “sacral” in SOT refers to the sacrum, or base of the spine, while “occipital” refers to the occiput, or base of the skull.
Dr. DeJarnette, the founder of SOT, found that breakdown of function in the body can occur in three distinct, interrelated categories. These categories have specific indicators and findings that affect the whole body and create distortions between the cranium and pelvis.
The SOT approach identifies the overall pattern of subluxation and indicates where to treat to restore function.
Advanced Scoliosis Care
For our scoliosis patients, please don't think that medical intervention is your only option. Chiropractic care can improve muscular tightness that comes from the curves, improve body function at the apex of the curves, and help restore the natural curves your spine is designed to have.
We utilize X-ray imaging to see progress and monitor the curves you have and how they are improving while you receive care.
Neuro-Tonal Adjusting
Neuro-tonal adjusting is a low-force technique designed to lower muscular tone and relax the nervous system in different parts of the body while still giving the nerves input from the adjustment.
When the body holds on to stress, we can see it expressed through muscle tone and tension. Neuro-tonal adjusting aims to reduce that tone through unwinding techniques and relieve tension stored in the body, calming the nervous system and leading to better regulation and restoration.
Dry Needling
Dry needling is a treatment technique that uses a thin, sterile, single-use needle inserted into muscles, tendons, or connective tissue with the goal of triggering a local twitch response and encouraging relaxation in the area.
It can also help reduce pain, improve mobility, relieve tightness, promote healing, and increase blood flow to the area. Dry needling is primarily used to treat active trigger points and associated pain. It is especially beneficial for athletes because it treats soft tissue and muscular problems, but it can be beneficial for anyone living an active lifestyle.
Thompson Technique
The Thompson Technique is a style of adjusting that utilizes drop pieces built into the table to help us apply force through a joint with a specific amount of tension.
The drops utilize Newton's first law: An object in motion will stay in motion unless an opposing force is met. This same rule applies when using the drops to adjust specific joints in the body to improve motion and relieve tension and imbalances.
Advanced Sports Concussion Management
Concussions are a common injury in sports, especially contact sports. When not treated and managed properly, they can be detrimental to your overall health, longevity, and timetable for getting back onto the field.
We take a thorough, nervous system-focused approach to concussion care, helping athletes recover safely and return to the sports they love with confidence.
